Replace your HVAC filters every month and put a teaspoon of bleach in the drain lines to help keep them clean. Test smoke detectors at the same time and replace batteries every six months. Keep roof valley clean from leaves and pine needles. This can cause possible water damage to the home if left unattended. Caulking is home owner maintenance. This needs to be checked every month. Many times a minor adjustment or repair done immediately saves a more serious, time consuming and sometimes costly repair later.

 

When cleaning your Hardwood floors, use only approved cleaners for hardwood floors. DO NOT use warm soapy water or Murphy Oils. This will make your hardwoods separate and cup and void your warranty.
